Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Correctional Facility | $45 per Hour
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in a correctional setting. This role offers a stable, long-term opportunity with a 3-year contract and potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $45 per hour
Shifts: Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

Job Summary:
As an LPN in this role, you will provide essential healthcare services in a correctional environment, ensuring the well-being of patients through skilled nursing care, medication administration, and patient education. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a structured setting.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians
- Collect and document vital signs and patient health history
- Administer medications and treatments while ensuring accurate documentation
- Provide patient care in a correctional facility setting
- Assist with specimen collection and maintain laboratory standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients on health management and preventive care
- Participate in case management activities to ensure comprehensive patient support
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience preferred
- Strong skills in medical documentation and patient assessment
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while providing compassionate care
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to healthcare regulations
