Aura Staffing is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a correctional facility in Pontiac, Illinois. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering stability, competitive pay, and the potential for extension up to three years.
Position Details:
- Pay: $45 per hour
- Schedule: 5x8s – 40 hours per week
- Shift: Evenings (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
- Contract: 1 year, with possible extension up to 3 years
- Setting: Correctional Facility
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care within a correctional setting
- Medication administration
- Perform assessments and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare and security staff
- Ensure compliance with facility and state regulations
Requirements:
- Active Illinois LPN license
- Previous correctional or clinical experience preferred
- Ability to work in a secure environment
- Strong documentation and communication skills
