CNA / ED Tech – Emergency Department (Per Diem Nights)

We are currently seeking an experienced CNA/ED Tech to work per diem night shifts in a fast-paced Emergency Department in Chicago. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have prior ED experience and are looking for flexible scheduling with competitive hourly pay.
Position Details:
- Pay: $25 per hour
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: Per diem / as needed
- Setting: Hospital Emergency Department
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the RN
- Obtain and document vital signs
- Assist with EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
- Support trauma and critical care patients as needed
- Assist with patient transport and room turnover
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Follow all hospital policies and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Active CNA certification required
- Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Department experience
- Strong clinical and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-acuity situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
